Witt Consulting is actively involved in the academic research sector of civil engineering, in particular through supporting research projects of students at the University of Sydney. Furthermore, Witt consistently offers industrial placement positions to postgraduate and undergraduate engineering students, providing industry training and co-supervision of research projects.

Rahsn Witt has acted as a mentor for a number of Sydney University students during their thesis research.

Witt Consulting are currently developing a research program for a graduate engineer and a senior staff member to be funded through the Innovations Connection program of AusIndustry.
