Wagga Wagga Hospital

The redevelopment at Wagga Wagga hospital will provide a range of new enhancements to the existing facility. A new acute services building and units across pathology, mental health, maintenance areas along with a new carpark, will enable the hospital to cater to the increasing demands within the region.
Witt Consulting’s involvement on the project included:
- Provided certification of compliance for structural timber framing.
- Produced temporary slab support designs.
- Created designs for a post to support the lintel beam at Level 1 SSB lift lobby.
- Developed a risk assessment of major risks associated with demolition works.
- Supplied certificate of compliance for the existing slab supporting structural timber framing.
- Carried out DCP testing to determine the subgrade.

Yarra Rossa Retirement Village

Situated in the heart of Canberra, Yarra Rossa Retirement Village initiated a sitewide redevelopment designed to enrich the lives of the seniors who will live there, with a variety of activities/facilities (library, pool, clubhouse and community garden etc.) on offer enabling residents to be social and active.

Witt Consulting provided a range of geotechnical services and laboratory testing to determine design parameters for a sandstone retaining wall design/installation on the exposed rockface
