The Narrabri to North Star (N2NS) Project was one of 13 individual projects making up the larger ARTC project called Inland Rail. The rail tracks will be used by freight trains between Brisbane and Melbourne.
N2NS consisted of upgrading 184 km of an existing rail corridor and construction of 2 km of new tracks to accommodate for the 1,800 m-long double-stacked freight trains. This upgrade and construction crossed three LGA’s, being Gwydir, Narrabri and Moree Plains.
Our Witt engineers performed a structural assessment of the steel bridge underneath the TLO bin at Narrabri Coal Mine and Proof engineering reviews on designs for level crossings
